Habitat and Geographical Distribution: United Kingdom; Shetland Islands
Diet: Feed primarily on fodder and have a delicate digestive system; the stomach is only able to process small amounts of food due to its small size.
Reproduction: The normal gestation period is 320 days and delivery is usually fast, about ten minutes from the first contractions. Offspring quickly starts to breastfeed, normally 2 hours after birth.
Behaviour: They are usually good-tempered and require some attention. Like to live in a herd, and often groom each other.
